I love to find new ways to make learning engaging and meaningful for learners, myself included! I am consultant helping educators, districts and companies bring technology meaningfully into the classroom. Before becoming a public school educator, I worked in high tech for 20 years. As a teacher, I was able to bring my skills and expertise with technology to the classroom. As a founding member of the 1:1 iPad academy, at Cambrian, I mentored and supported teachers in the effective integration of technology into classroom practices. I facilitated the Cambrian Digital Media Academy. I am an Edmodo Ambassador and Edmodo Certified Trainer, as well as a ClassDojo Mentor. I use social media for professional development, to express my opinions and just to share my silly sense of humor with the world.
